He was selected by A.F. Ferguson & Co. (Deloitte) for undergoing Three Years of comprehensive CA Articleship.

His professional experience is majorly into Railroad industry, Infrastructure & Metro projects. During his professional journey gained rich experience in Project Financing, Audit, budget & Internal Controls, International Business Process Transition, Treasury & Funds Management, Contracts & Tender Management apart from working and coordination with International Funding Agencies.
Shri Verma has worked at Gujarat Metro as a Chief Financial Officer for execution of Metro Rail Network in the State of Gujarat having combined project cost of INR 30,000 Cr. During his tenure with Gujarat Metro he has widely contributed for completion of Ahmedabad Metro and Gandhinagar Metro route which were inaugurated by Hon. P.M. Shri Narendra Modi Ji in 2022 & 2024 respectively
He is a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt from General Electric Corp. USA and has been part of various business groups/ delegation as a Finance Head which includes Project related travel to Canada, Germany, France, United States.
Shri Verma has rich experience in building , managing & leading high-performance teams to drive business, revenue and cost control.
As a Director Finance, he is overall in-charge of Finance & Accounts function at Gurugram Metro Rail Limited.
